Town considering need for outdoor dining tables
A town in the US could soon need to get hold of outdoor dining tables and chairs as discussions are being held into whether al fresco restaurants should be allowed in the area again.
Hermosa Beach City Council is currently discussing the issue but has decided to keep the decision on hold for at least another two weeks, according to the Easy Reader.
In the summer months, the council had called for all dining tables to be removed from sidewalks, with only those that have been bolted to the floor permitted to stay.
Some businesses have called for the return of outdoor dining, stating that its withdrawal has had a negative impact on their business, while others have had to remove items which they had used to promote their company.
Homeowners are also changing the places and ways in which they eat, with a spokesperson for Fairmont and Main recently highlighting how many people are starting to place dining tables within their kitchens.
